  Islamic architecture is one of the world's most celebrated building traditions. Known for its minarets, domes, vaulting, arches, and decorative work (each of which is often found in the Islamic mosque), this distinctive approach has been popular in the Muslim world since the 7th century. It is a blend of ancient and varied native traditions, with building types, forms and technologies from West and Central Asia, as well as Europe. Architectural styles range from Hindu temple architecture to Islamic architecture to western classical architecture to modern and post-modern architecture.

Architecture has deep wells of research, thought, and theory that are unseen on the surface of a structure.
